Friends of Gualala River (FoGR) will be hosting a table at the upcoming community Earth Day at the Gualala Community Center on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2-5 PM.
The theme for this event is climate change and what our community can do. We invite you to visit our table, hear the general presentations, enjoy light refreshments and join discussions.
Here’s the schedule:
2:00 Visit the exhibits, including Four-Eyed Frog bookstore table full of Earth-friendly good reading, enjoy refreshments.
2:45-4:00 Presentations – Hear from Citizens’ Climate Lobby on the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act, and Laura Baker (FoGR) on how trees impact our environment, followed by Q&A and community discussion on climate change. Find out what the top 100 actions are to reverse greenhouse gas emissions.
4:15 (optional) Meet at the Gualala Point Regional Park Visitor Center for a guided walk by Park Ranger Roberta ($7 fee per car to enter park or use a Sonoma County Parks pass).
