Gualala Redwood Timber stated that they expect to submit a ~339-acre Salt Timber Harvest Plan, located on steep slopes above the south side of the Wheatfield Fork of the Gualala River, approximately one mile northeast of Valley Crossing (confluence of the South and Wheatfield Forks), adjacent to the recently approved Pepper THP.
“The “Salt” THP is presently in project development. The project is estimated to be 339 acres and will utilize Unevenaged and Special Prescription Silvicultures. . . This THP is expected to be submitted in late 2025.” – Pepper THP, p.189
However, the Salt THP has not yet been submitted.
