What is the Mad Water Grab?
Aqueous Corp. has proposed to pump 15 million gallons of water per day from the Mad River into giant polyfiber bags floating in Humboldt Bay, and tow them to cities in Southern California.
The Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District told Aqueous that it would have to wait while the district researches the issue.
We strongly oppose any proposal to export water away from the Mad River or any other watershed in Humboldt County.
